My major is molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, so this class was of great importance and interest to me. While my high school AP biology knowledge had me covered for most of the course, this class was still fun and enlightening because the Professor Ben Wiggins would use examples from modern science to supplement his teachings. In this way I learned nearly as much about modern scientific practices as I did about molecular biology. Upon completing this course, I felt prepared that my previous knowledge on the subject had been properly added to so that I had the right tools and information to continue with molecular biology courses in a college setting.
