My final honors-prefix class had us students all take a look at each of our holistic college experience, determine the themes and signifigance entwined in all of it, and then present it all to a general audience. There was a strong sense of community in the 24-person class, and we used it to bounce ideas about the thought and reflection that needed to go into our time at UW as well as this portfolio that is meant to capture that. Such a capstone course solidified in my head how important and influential the honors program has been for me, and how much I have to take with me in my post-graduate life.
If you follow the "My Journey" links, starting from the bottom of the home page of this portfolio, you can follow the specific pages a topics I went over in my final presentation.
As is customary with the honors program, we finished the quarter with an extended reflection, this time looking at our entire honors experience in addition to just HONORS 496 itself. My reflection is below, one of the last times I will write a reflection like this for a college assignment.
